Copyright
The copyright for any article in the Jurnal Patriot is fully retained by the authors under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA license. By submitting an article to the Jurnal Patriot, authors automatically agree to the following policy without the need for specific documents.
1. Author's Warranty
Authors guarantee that the article is original, written by the mentioned authors, not previously published, does not contain statements that violate the law, does not infringe on the rights of others, is subject to copyright exclusively granted to the authors, free from any third-party rights, and that any written permissions required to quote from other sources have been obtained by the authors.
2. User's Rights
The Patriot Journal aims to disseminate published articles as widely as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, the Patriot Journal grants users permission to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work. Users are expected to attribute the authors and the Patriot Journal when distributing the work in journals and other publication media.
3. Author's Rights
Authors retain the following rights:
a. Copyright, and other ownership rights related to the article, such as patent rights,
b. The right to use the substance of the article in their future works, including lectures and books,
c. The right to reproduce the article for personal purposes, provided that copies are not offered for sale,
d. The right to archive the article themselves,
e. The right to make separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (for example, posting it to institutional repositories or publishing it in a book), with acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal (Patriot Journal).
4. Joint Authorship
If an article is prepared jointly by more than one author, each submitting author guarantees that they have been authorized by all co-authors to approve this copyright notice and license agreement on their behalf and agrees to inform their co-authors about the terms of this policy. The Patriot Journal will not be responsible for anything that may arise due to internal disputes among the authors. The Patriot Journal will only communicate with the concerned author.
5. Royalties
As an open-access journal that distributes articles freely under the mentioned Creative Commons license terms, authors acknowledge that the Patriot Journal grants them the right to forgo royalties or any other fees.
